David Jacobs
At a meeting of Mr B Hyam's assistants at 30 Dane Street on Monday evening, an address, accompanied with a handsome and richly chased cigar case, suitably inscribed, was presented to DAVID JACOBS, expressive of their esteem for him, and regret at his retirement from management of that establishment successfully carried out by him for thirteen years. The assistants were invited by Mr Jacobs to and entertainment at his residence. The health of MESSRS. B HYAM & SON, and success of the Dublin establishment being proposed and responded to, the company after spending an agreeable evening, separated with expressions of good feeling on the part of the manager and assistants. - Saunders News Letter and Daily Advertiser 1.1.1864 - [S3463] 1871 Census - RG10 - 3842 F160 P01 - Jacobs, David (1826), 9 Jan 2021.
