The postcards have been ordered chronologically as far as is possible from their franks.
Most of the postcards are from ‘Maggie’ to ‘Agnes’
Maggie is Margaret Lomas (nee Bowman), wife of Bob ‘Pender’. Agnes is Agnes Mackney, cousin to Bob (Pender) Lomas
Agnes marries John Henry Cooper in July 2007 so they are now addressed to Mrs Cooper.
Sarah Ann and Lena (Leonora) Mackney are Agnes’ sisters
An interesting fact that the cards reveal is that whilst I normally associate the Mackneys as being associated with travelling fairs, is that the addresses for Agnes are sometimes traditional theatres.
