  Richard Brown has the following note: possibly married to Eleanor NEWSHAM 12/1870 Possibly 1870 DEC Bootle Cul. 10B 1031 [DS 11/03/2006] [7] Following on from Richard's notes: I have him in 1851, 1861 censuses I believe I have him in the 1871 census indexed as Botton [RG 10/5267 F039 P14] He is a servant and looks to be Unmarried, but there may be a correction on this - but I'm not sure. I cannot find him in 1881 or 1891 If he married in 1870 where is his wife in 1871
